The design of this piece represents the tall mountain formations of the Western branch of the Andes- sacred to the Wounaan people- which according to their beliefs are home to several of the revered Wounaan gods.

Given the nature and story of these Werregue palm pendants, the tightly woven fiber results in an opaque shade, with a focused spot light emanating from the bottom mouth of the fixture.

    Our Atzompa Collection is created in the Oaxacan town of Santa María Atzompa, where the pottery-making tradition has roots tracing back to ancient Zapotec culture.
